Terms & Conditions 1.1 About Us Vairagya Yatra organizes trekking, spiritual journeys, cultural explorations, and adventure-based experiences primarily in remote and offbeat regions. By booking or participating in any Vairagya Yatra program, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. 1.2 Eligibility Participants must be physically and mentally fit to undertake treks and travel activities. Certain treks may require minimum age criteria or prior trekking experience, which will be communicated beforehand. Participants are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, allergies, or health concerns prior to departure. 1.3 Booking & Payment A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required advance or full payment. Prices are subject to change without prior notice until booking is confirmed. Payments once made are non-transferable unless explicitly mentioned. 1.4 Itinerary & Services Itineraries are indicative and may change due to weather, road conditions, safety concerns, government restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances. Vairagya Yatra reserves the right to modify, cancel, or reschedule any itinerary in the interest of participant safety. 1.5 Participant Responsibility Participants must follow instructions given by trek leaders, guides, and staff at all times. Consumption of alcohol, drugs, or any illegal substances during the journey is strictly prohibited. Any damage to property, environment, or equipment caused by a participant will be chargeable. 1.6 Safety & Risk Acknowledgement Trekking and travel in remote regions involve inherent risks including injury, illness, altitude sickness, weather changes, and wildlife encounters. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Vairagya Yatra shall not be held liable for injuries, accidents, loss, or death beyond reasonable control. 1.7 Force Majeure Vairagya Yatra shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, government orders, or any events beyond reasonable control. 1.8 Termination of Participation Vairagya Yatra reserves the right to refuse or terminate participation of any individual whose behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate, without any refund. --- 2. Refund & Cancellation Policy 2.1 Cancellation by Participant Refunds will be processed as per the following schedule (unless otherwise specified for a particular trek): 30 days or more before departure: 80% refund of total amount 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund of total amount 7–14 days before departure: 25% refund of total amount Less than 7 days before departure: No refund > Note: Booking/processing fees, permit fees, and third-party charges are non-refundable. 2.2 Cancellation by Vairagya Yatra If a trip is cancelled by Vairagya Yatra due to unavoidable reasons, participants may choose between a full refund or adjustment in a future trek. Vairagya Yatra is not responsible for additional expenses such as travel tickets, accommodation, or personal expenses incurred by participants. 2.3 No-Show Policy No refund will be provided if a participant fails to report on the scheduled date, time, or location. 2.4 Early Exit or Evacuation No refund will be provided for voluntary early exit from the trek. In case of evacuation due to medical or safety reasons, additional costs will be borne by the participant. --- 3.
